INSIDE : The property has a typical alpine décor with wood panelling and an open plan living area, dining area and kitchen. The kitchen is reasonably equipped, and there is a dining table for 6. The property has one bedroom with a set of bunk beds, a double bed tucked away on the mezzanine floor and two single sofa beds. There is a newly renovated bathroom, with a shower/bath option along with a ski locker on the first floor GREAT LOCATION : You are in the lively hub of ChamSud, close to the Aiguille du Midi lift station and and main bus station giving you a perfect location to enjoy everything the valley has to offer. The nearest mini supermarket is just round the corner along with many bars and restaurants, coffee shops, launderette and ski rental. GETTING AROUND : Chamonix Holidays will provide your group with tourist cards/Carte d’hotes which give you free use of the trains in the valley, plus discounts at the pool and entry to museums. A night bus also runs from Argentiere to Les Houches and costs 4€ per person. USEFUL BITS : If you need to book a transfer from Geneva Airport we recommend Haute Transfer, Mountain Drop Offs and Swiss Tours. We can help organise ski passes so that they are waiting for you when you arrive. Please ask if you have any questions. YOUR ARRIVAL : Arrive any time after 16h and with our self-check-in process, you do not need to worry about being a little earlier or later than planned. You will receive comprehensive information on how to find the apartment before you arrive. PARKING : You will have access to the underground parking in ChamSud. Summer top tip - Take the Aiguille du Midi up to the mid station where there are many incredible hikes to be found, our favourite is along the Grand Balcon Nord to Montenvers; the height offers an incredible view of the whole valley. PERFECT FOR : a couple or small group of friends looking for a well-maintained base in the Chamonix valley. THE BUILDING : You will be staying in the popular Chamois Blanc Building conveniently located opposite the ChamSud bus station, close to the Aiguille du Midi lift station. INSIDE : In this one-bedroom apartment you will find everything needed to enjoy your stay. The entrance opens into a small hallway with handy storage space. There is a small but well-equipped kitchenette off the hallway which looks out over the open living/dining area with a dining table for up to 4 people, a sofa and single sofa bed. Tri-folding doors separate the lounge from the bedroom. The bedroom has a double bed. The newly renovated bathroom has a walk-in shower and a bidet. OUTSIDE : You can enjoy an apero on the balcony, overlooking the Mont Blanc range or use the large communal garden behind the building. A couple of minutes away is the popular and lively ChamSud pedestrian area, with practical shops during the day and busy nightlife later on. GREAT LOCATION : You couldn’t be anymore central, with easy access to everything Chamonix has to offer: great for taking advantage of some of the local bars and après ski. Just a stone’s throw away are plenty of local shops including ski hire, supermarkets, bakers, launderettes, restaurants & clubs. If you’re planning a ski day, then it’s an easy walk to the bus stops. GETTING AROUND : The main bus stops are in front of the residence with services up and down the valley, and the Aiguille du Midi train station is a few minutes away providing trains from Saint Gervais le Fayet to Vallorcine and Switzerland. Chamonix Holidays will provide your group with tourist cards/Carte d’hotes which give you free use of the trains and buses in the valley, plus discounts at the pool and entry to museums. A night bus also runs from Argentiere to Les Houches and costs 2€ per person. USEFUL BITS : Leave your skis in the private ski locker on the basement level, ready for the following morning. PLEASE NOTE : At the moment there is no wifi service or internet connection provided! YOUR ARRIVAL : You will need to collect keys from the key box outside the ChamServe office, which is just a few minutes’ walk from the residence. Once you have collected the keys, you will have a badge to enter the residence from the main road or from the garden side at the back of the building.
